A huge chap handsome. His fur was so lovely and soft, and as you didn’t have to bend down far for a cuddle … you could have a real snug! Rex was 13 and in pretty good shape when he joined us. His old back legs were a whizzle stiff, but some pain killers and anti inflams helped that. He was a Beauceron/GSD cross and came on a long term foster situation as his family had to go to Malaysia, and feared he might not make the journey and that they would rather eat dogs there … so left him with us. He was with us for a long time, but the owner promised all necessary vet fee’s and paid his keep …. so a rare fella who came with support. He settled extremely well, made friends already, and whilst he might have been the biggest – he was so very very gentle.
