Spaniels have become a bit of a weakness for us, so gorgeous in looks and manner. So when you meet a grumpy old chap you know things are likely not so good for him. This was true for old aka Filou Patrick. He had a heart complaint, but he also had a chronic parasitic virus that caused him inflamed rashes and open sores. Sadly , we lost the battle to keep on top of it for him, and for his sake, we had to say ‘night night’. The vet was, as ever a wonder, tried hard, but the poor fella was too badly affected. So darling, we were delighted to share some time with you, and at least had you free of the SPA confines for your last days. Bless you little man, be free of pain and discomfort … be free now to be yourself xxx
