Cayenne – named after the pepper – arrived on the eve of our tenth birthday. Rescued 12 years ago when she was two, she was 14 and in the way. We didn’t expect her quite so soon, but none of that mattered, Cayenne became a Twilighter. Just a few hours in, she was taking time in the relax middle room, to settle, and just be. An Alsatian cross, apparently nervous and afraid of storms. Poor Cayenne had a nasty tumour, but we took care of that and lots of love. Sadly, after a few happy months with us Cayenne developed liver failure and died peacefully in her sleep. RIP dear one xxx
