After a quiet start to 2024 – thanks to covid and some poorly volunteers – we’re now gearing up for a busy season of Spring fundraisers. So, we’ve brought all our May events together into one post so you can see, at a glance, where you can meet up with and support Team Twilight!
Team Twilight South
Down the southwest of France, in department 11 Aude, Team Twilight South are holding their annual Spring Fayre on Saturday May 11. If you are in the area, do go along to Rivel to support the Puds and treat yourself to some goodies.
Kay’s 7 x 20km week of walks
Following her success last year, our wonderful supporter Kay will be lacing up her boots for seven days straight, walking with her dogs, 20km each day to raise funds for Twilight. Starting May 13, you can follow Kay’s week long challenge with daily updates on our Facebook page. You can also join Kay on this journey by donating and spreading the word – your support means the world to the Puds!

Big Pud’s Fencing Fundraiser
This amazing dog was only one of five ever made by Andrex, and our wonderful donator Victoria, were one of the lucky five. They have amazingly donated BIG PUD for the benefit of the Twilight Puds.
We are about to have new essential fencing works undertaken, totalling €4,000, and we need BIG PUD to help us on our way. From Sunday 12 May you can buy a raffle ticket online through our Facebook page. Due to BIG PUD’S magnificence, raffle ticket prices need to reflect this. So, one ticket is €5 or treat yourself to five tickets for €20.
Also on Friday 17, Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 May you can meet BIG PUD at the Hope big book sale at the mahoosive Confolens shop. Leeanne and Mike will be there to introduce you, and you can buy your tickets there in person. The draw will be on Sunday 19 May at 15:00 French time. Sooo exciting!
The Hope Association Big Book Sale
Our friends at the Hope Association in Confolens, department 16 are running their massive three-day book sale at the famous Hope Shop. Starting Friday 17 May until Sunday 19 May. Twilight will be having a stall, so do pop along to support Hope and say help to Leeanne, Mike and Big Pud, of course.
Linda’s Lovely Crafts online Auction
Our final online event for May will be an auction of lovely donated craft goodies on the Twilight Chiens Fundraising Group on Facebook. Starting Thursday 23 May and ending at 6pm Sunday 26 May. Do ask to join the group if you are not already a member so you can join in our online fundraising events.
