Night, night dear old Skip xxx. Only here for four months, bless you. Apparently dumped and left, 19 years old according to his papers – hard to believe, but true. The poor lad had terrible arthritis in his hips, and a blood test not long after arriving showed his kidneys to be in failure. Medication and special food, and the old gentleman done good. We loved him, and cherished his time. We thank Les Amis for entrusting this special gent to us here at Twilight. Sadly the kidney failure hit with final vengeance, and his last hours were taken quickly. Our vet was so caring, but there was nothing left to be done. I held Skip close, he passed peacefully and full of love xxxx
