Melodie arrived in October 2016. Blind and diabetic, she was rescued by the Refuge Lannemezan – les potes a pouf. Melodie needed special food for her diabetes and daily insulin. After a wonderful year at Twilight, Iris, our alpaca spinning lady, took Melodie home to be an outreach pud. Sadly, after Iris’ untimely death, dear Melodie, along with her Twilight chum Leia returned to the Twilight fold where Melodie enjoyed a happy year before crossing the Rainbow Bridge in April 2021.
