Time for some Twilight thanks

Twilight is so lucky to have a band of volunteers ready and willing to lend a hand with the many tasks involved in running our home for old, disabled but happy dogs. From cleaning to gardening, fundraising to donations, every little helps.

This week we send a massive thank you to Seija and Andy, delicious volunteers who joined us for ten days. This means we could take an urgent call ourselves and collect a 13-year-old newly blind lab lad that Hope have been involved in saving. Welcome Bacchus – what a handsome lad! We even surprised Hope shop 16 as we passed them by and needed marmalade for Daddy Twilight’s breakfast! Mighty thanks for all loving the puddings so much.

Our thanks also go to Team Rainbow. Well, we have had little luck with our mowers over the years, but soldiered on. But, very goodness, Team Rainbow have just helped us to buy a new machine. It had its first cut yesterday, a virgin mow with our wonderful volunteer Andy. Wow and more. Thanks to all the volunteers for making this possible.

If you’d like to join the band of Twilight volunteers do get in touch by email, the more hands the merrier. And look at all those smiling faces at our last magnifique day of incredible Twilight volunteers. Thank you all from every paw xxxx

Don’t forget – the Twilight Open Day weekend is coming up: Friday 28 and Sunday 30 June 2019. See you there!
