Darling old Bella
Dear Bella hasn’t been with us long, you will recall her owner died, and she with her two children and friend were taken in with Mornac Refuge. Three came to us, and Bella the oldest she seemed bright and whilst overweight, happy. Sadly though it was clear all those lumps and bumps might not be very chummy. A scan showed a tumour on the spleen. We had hoped to try steroids, but it was clear that even the actions of the scan had had an unsettling and painful effect. The vet was so kind. We popped Bella to sleep so the vet could feel the size of the tumour. It was huge. We let the beautiful lady cross peacefully to her old owner.
I am sorry you couldn’t be with us longer gorgeous girl, but such a pleasure to meet you and thank you for those lovely cuddles.
