Our end of month review: July 2024

My, what a month of changes! For all of us Pudding parents, the weather in its extremes, such biblical rain and storms and now to extreme heat. It isn’t easy for the humans or puds, so please take great care.

Jeff

Sadly, this month we lost our dear Grizzelle – what a precious pudding she was. And now, we have just welcomed Jeff who sadly suffers a similar cancer. But, we shall ensure that his waggy tail sees some special time ahead.

Grizelle

Nowadays, the Puds can see a change in daddy Twilight. Dear Mike is no longer able to manage his zimmer frame, and he has gone to his wheelchair full time. They are circumnavigating each other well, and it does make for smiles.

We have so many requests that keep coming in … and please, please … my beef, get those Puds sterilised when young. It really is a tragedy not to.

We are so thankful to our team. The fundraising trio ran a very successful Sparkly auction this month, raising a whopping €763 and we have plans for more regular fundraising events. So, if you not already a member of the dedicated Facebook fundraising group, do pop over and join now. Don’t forget to answer the joining questions to keep the Facebook bot happy!

We are deeply grateful to everyone who supports us. The fundraising is a lot of work but my goodness you help bring those needed pennies in to allow the Puds the care and comfort they deserve. Thank you so, so much. Thanks also to those who have donated jewels or unwanted gifts; how blessed are we. And, thank you to our regular supporters, whether it be via PayPal or our Teaming group, or spending your pennies in the Asso shops that support us.

Thoughts remain with many of our poorly human team, and our love and deepest thanks come to you all for staying with us in morale and funding support. We really couldn’t do it without you all. Stay safe everyone and bless you for caring xx
